The ipad2 has finally made its appearance making the competitors look at the Apple Inc. toes. Well that was the reaction when Steve Jobs gave a surprise appearance in Yerba Buena venue, San Francisco an event hosted by Apple. The first hand to grab the ipad2 was the PC magazine after Steve Jobs unveiled the gadget.

As the video hands on shows, iPad 2 makes up for all the things lacking in the original iPad. The 1GHz dual-core A5 chip does justice to apps like Photo Booth and over all user experience. Moreover, while the screen carries the same resolution, Apple was able to pack it in a noticeably thinner iPad 2. In fact its dimensions, 13.4 mm to 8.8mm thick, make it 33% thinner than iPhone 4. Also while the cameras aren't HD, the inclusion itself provides an opportunity for Facetime, which is actually more interactive than what we've seen so far on other Apple devices.

On Wednesday, Oracle amended the lawsuit it filed against Google in August, saying that 'approximately one third of Android's Application Programmer Interface (API) packages' are 'derivative of Oracle's copyrighted Java API packages' and related documents. In particular, 'the infringed elements of Oracle America's copyrighted work include Java method and class names, definitions, organization, and parameters; the structure, organization and content of Java class libraries; and the content and organization of Java's documentation,' Oracle says. As its name suggests, Find My iPhone is a tracking feature to locate a missing iPhone 4, iPad or fourth-generation iPod Touch. (Only the latest models get the free feature.) If you've dropped your iDevice in a cab, or if someone's stolen it, you can hop on a computer to follow the GPS coordinates of the iPhone on a Google map.
