Bomb...wooohooo!!! a splash...A Logic Bomb is a code developed by a programmer which is intentionally inserted into a software so as to make it malicious whenever certain conditions are met.  Ex: A software deletes various user files whenever a certain condition is met. 
A software stated as virus or worm is also kind of a Logic Bomb only as it gets run whenever specific conditions are met.
This technique can be used by a virus or worm to gain momentum and spread before being noticed. Many viruses attack their host systems on specific dates, such as Friday the 13th orApril Fool's Day. Trojans that activate on certain dates are often called "time bombs".
